I'm curuious about other mediums for stamp carving. I think I'm going to
try-out 'Safty-Kut' and 'PZ Kut' soon.
Anyone have any experince with either of products?

I use PZ pretty regularly. I find it to be firm
and able to hold intricate detail without that
squishy "give" as the Staedtler Mars. It's good
for intricate work such as lettering and small
hatches. However, the consistency is not as
creamy as the Staedtler Mars, and I also find it
sometimes splits/crumbles if put under a
moderate amount of stress. The Staetler
Mars just has a yummier feel for freehand
art carving. Also, the PZ Kut seems to be
less porous than other carving materials,
and some types of ink bead up on the surface.
It might be a good idea for you to consider
trying as many carving materials as you can
reasonably afford, because depending on
your style of carving, you may find you
like a specific medium that others would
not be quick to recommend, or as in my case,
different mediums for different stamp art
uses.
